Hiram Augustus Foiles died at 4:35 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his residence, 814 Naval Place.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary E. R. Foiles; his father and mother, Clifton and Mrs. Lizzie Foiles; son, Raymond E. Foiles; sisters, Mrs. Ollie Gay and Miss Grace Foiles; borthers, John, Charles, Herbert & Clifton Foiles.
Funeral arrangements will be announced tomorrow morning.

Hiram Augustus Foiles, who died Thursday at his residence, 814 Naval place, was buried yesterday afternoon in St. Paul's Cemetery. Funeral service was conducted at 3:30 o'clock at St. Paul's Catholic Church and was largely attended. The Rev. F. Joseph Magri, pastor of the church, officiated.
Mrs. Louise Costello, with Miss Louise Marshall as accompanist, sang before the funeral party left for the church. The selections were "Will the Circle Be Unbroken?" and "Eastern Gate." As the funeral party entered the church John Thompson, Jr. sand "Lead Kindly Light." As the funeral party left the church he sang, "Face to Face."
The casket was covered with a spray of lilies with a centerpiece of red carnations.
Pallbearers were C. L. Velliness, L.L. Snowden, E. M. Van Dyck, H. W. Bernard, Thomas Etheridge, W. T. Jewell.

HIram Foiles died at the residence of his brother, Clifton Foiles, 525 Harrison street, South Portsmouth, at 10:50 o'clock last Tuesday night, following an illness of six months duration. He was 52 years old.
Besides his brother, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. L. G. Spraggins, of Surry county, Va., and Mrs. W. Hodges, of this city. Four sons, Luther C., Eugene, Henry L., and George A. Foiles, and one daughter, Mrs. R. L. Burton, also survive him.
The funeral service will take place at 4 o'clock this afternoon at the residence in Harrison street. Burial will take place in Oak Grove cemetery.
