Mrs. Carrie M. Cassell
Chesapeake--Mrs. Carrie Mildred Bowen Cassell, 71, of 2664 Plumlee Drive, thw widow of Virginius C. Cassell Jr. and a retired, 35-year employee of Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone Co., died Monday in her home.
She was a native of Merry Hill, N.C.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Anne E. Davis of Chesapeake; four sisters, Mrs. Sudie McDonnell of Suffolk, Mrs. Marvy Covert and Mrs. Elizabeth Alice Hawkins of Portsmouth, and Mrs. Ruth Council of Newport News; two brothers, Ernest A. Bowen and Joseph N. Bowen of Portsmouth; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Foster Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Fr. Patrick DeLauder. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
