He is survived by his wife. Mrs. Annie Cleades Manning; two daughters, Martha and Fannie Manning, two sons, John C. Manning Jr. and Cleaves manning, and two brothers, William Manning and K. G. Manning.
He was a member of Central Methodist Church. The body was removed to the Snellings Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery.

During the service Miss Edna Fanney sang "Ring Those Golden Bells". Mrs. J. Shirley Hope was accompanist.
Pallbearers were M. Goldman, Stanley Hall, William Foreman, F. F. Sterling, A. E. Fentress and R. J. Barry.
The casket was covered with a spray of lillies. These were numerous other floral designs.

F.; Seaside Lodge, K of P, and Old Dominion Conclave of Heptasophs, of which , Mr. Manning was a member, were in attendance.
