Miss Virginia A. Hodges
After a lingering illness Miss Virginia A. Hodges, a well known resident of this city, passed away yesterday afternoon at two o'clock at the residence of E. K. Brooks Sr., 317 Middle Street.
Miss Hodges was a long and consistent member of Monumental M. E. Church in this city, and had a large circle of friends, who will regret to learn of her death.
Arrangements for the funeral had not been completed last night, but will be announced later.

Hodges--At the residence of Mr. E. K. Brooks Sr., no. 317 Middle street, at 2 o'clock p.m. June 16, 1909, Miss Virginia Adelaide Hodges, beloved sister of Capt. Thomas M. Hodges.
Funeral services will be held from the residence this (Friday) afternoon at 4 o'clock. Friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment in Oak Grove cemetery.

Later in the day the body will be conveyed to Oak Grove cemetery, where interment will take place.
