Witnesseth: That in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty ($150) dollars the said Mary Etta C. Clark and Katherine S. Clark do grant unto the said Heber C. Cassell the following property, to-wit:
All that certain piece, parcel or lot of land lying in the County of Norfolk, Virginia, and known on a plat of "LaFayette Annex" made by C. F. This deed, made the 2nd day of February, in the year nineteen hundred and thirty two between Heber C. Cassell, and Marion D. Cassell, his wife of the City of Portsmouth, in the State of Virginia, parties of the first part and George L. Hayes, party of the second part.
Witnesseth: that in consideration of the sum of three hundred and fifty ($350) dollars, the said parties of the first part do grant, with general warranty unto the said party of the second part the following property, to-wit:
All that certain lot, piece or parcel of land, situate in the City of Norfolk, State of Virginia, and known, numbered, and designated as lot number three (3) in block number nine (9) as shown on the plat of the property of the "Lafayette Annex", made by C. F. The said parties of the first part covenant that they have the right to convey the said land to the grantee, that the grantee shall have quiet possession of the said land, free from all encumbrances, that they the said parties of the first part will execute such further assurances of the said land as may be requisite, and that they have done no act to incumber the said land.
